James Bell - Owner/Instructor (Classroom & Behind The Wheel)

Mr. Bell teaches the driver's safety education class as well as the behind the wheel instruction of the school program. A graduate of the University of Texas, he was a highly successful public school educator for 20 years. As a former instructor at Metro Driving School, he gained valuable knowledge and experience that helped in deciding to open his own driving school in 2007. His dedication and desire to make his students be the best drivers they can be, has translated into the business thriving through the first 2 years of operation.

Linda Bell - Owner/Classroom Instructor

Linda Bell is a current public high school teacher in Granite City. She has been praised for her dedication and outstanding service during her 25 years as a teacher. She helps out part time at Tri-City by teaching several summer driver's ed classes.

Pat Bregen - Instructor

Ms. Pat, as she was fondly referred to while formally employed at Metro Driving School, is loved by her former students. She enjoys a great rapport with all that she instructed both in the classroom and behind the wheel. Although she only works part time on weekends, she still continues to make an impact on the those that she instructs here with us. We are very lucky to have such a qualified, professional, and patient instructor here at Tri-City.

Matt Donaldson - Instructor

Teaches both the classroom and behind the wheel portions of our program. Matt is a graduate of SIUE and has been a professional driver for over 20 years. He previously owned his own courier company and is very knowledgeable in the rules of the road and enjoys passing on his experiences to students. During the day, Matt is a substitute teacher with the Granite City School District.

Dan Ray- Instructor

Mr. Ray is a graduate of SIUC. He has taught Driver's Ed for 10 years, previously in public schools and most recently at Metro Driving School. As a former colleague at Metro, Dan was always considered a true professional, extremely knowledgeable, and helped many students become safe drivers. We are very pleased to add a great asset like Dan to our Tri-City team.

Jim McDermott - Instructor

Mr. McDermott is the latest instructor by way of Metro Driving School and My Tutor Driving School to join the Tri-City team. Jim is a graduate of St. Louis University and has been a public school teacher/coach for 37 years. He is currently the Special Education Department Head for the St. Louis Public School District. He will help teach the classroom and behind the wheel portion of our program out of our Cottage Hills location. With his vast experience in education, we are obviously proud to add him to our staff.
